Staycation? More like slay-cation. You don’t need to travel far this summer to feel like you’ve landed on a sandy shoreline in the Caribbean. That’s right, this gorgeous Ontario conservation area with a pebble beach, limestone bluffs, crystal clear waters, and more is the only dreamy destination you need.

Located in the beautiful Prince Edward County, Little Bluff Conservation Area is just under three hours from Toronto, making it the perfect spot for a spontaneous day trip out of the city.

You’ll be feeling beachy in no time when you go for a dip in the bay. The water is so crystal clear you can practically see all the way to the bottom.

From the towering 20-metre high limestone bluffs you can soak in bird's-eye views of the blue-green waters below.

Throughout the 70-acre land, you’ll find a variety of nature trails perfect for those who love hiking.

True adventurers will love searching for the abandoned remains of a grain storage and docking facility hidden in the area, as well.

So if you’re looking for a place that’s full of adventure, history, and beach vibes, this might be the perfect spot.

Now grab your sunhats and SPF because it’s beach time.

There are three hiking trails located within the conservation area, too, and they’re all less than one kilometre long.

So you can easily convince your friend who hates hiking to tag along.

The shoreline here is actually a barrier beach that protects a small wetland from the rough waters of Prince Edward Bay, and it's the best spot to float your worries away.

You’ll find tons of wildlife here including Canada geese, mallards, great blue herons, bitterns and Virginia rails.

And if you get a little snacky on your trip, there’s also a sheltered picnic area that’s perfect for feasting.

Just be sure to properly dispose of any litter when you’re finished to keep the area clean and safe.

So, if you're looking for Caribbean coastal vibes without shelling out for airfare, we might have found your new favourite spot.
