McDonald's announced last week that they will soon have a plant-based patty on their menu, after successfully testing the product. The "McPlant" is its name, and it will be available at some point next year. McDonald's was not clear on what brand will be supplying the new patty, but Beyond Meat claims that they co-created it with McDonald's after testing it in Canada.
