What goes around comes around.
Afrom just won $1 million in the lottery and we can't think of anyone who could be more deserving.
Terri Watkins of sharing, "I thought that it was a scam. I was a little upset actually!", couldn't believe it when she got the call that she'd won,
I thought that it was not real, couldn’t be real.
Watkins' lucky lottery entry was chosen from over 513,000 entries in a second chance drawing.
As anurse at a long-term care facility, she shared that she'd been for something to help her through the situation.
"Just seeing some of the things that I’ve had to see, I am very thankful," said Watkins in a press release.
She had the option to take the $1 million prize as 20 payments of $50,000 a year or a lump sum of $600,000.
Watkins opted for the lump sum and took home $424,500 after state and federal tax withholdings.
When asked what she would do with her winnings, Watkins shared that she'd love a new home, but was going to take her time and put the money in the right place.
"I’m just gonna take it slow and easy and figure out what I’m gonna do," said Watkins.
