A 12-Year-Old Toronto Boy Took His Father's Car For A Joyride Down The QEW
The boy was spotted driving erratically.
A 12-year-old Toronto boy has no injuries after taking his father's SUV for a joyride on the QEW on Tuesday morning.
The boy on the QEW, who was initially assumed to be an impaired driver, was spotted on the west of Hurontario Street at around 1:30 a.m.
Police received multiple calls about the driver
It was reported that several police cars were needed to bring the boy to a stop.
Police later determined that the minor had "borrowed" his father's car from his family's home in the Islington Avenue and Albion Road area.
Officers brought the boy's father to the scene.
Both of them were questioned before the boy was able to safely return home.
