This quaint small town in Ontario is a dreamy escape. Nestled along a peaceful river, the destination boasts old-world streets and has even been called one of the cutest towns in the province.

You can explore charming shops, dine at local restaurants, and enjoy the scenic landscapes while visiting this enchanting spot.

Arnprior is a historic village under an hour from Ottawa, at the junction of the Ottawa and Madawaska Rivers.

The town is a magical spot for a day trip and was even named one of the province's cutest small towns by Ontario's Highlands.

According to Ottawa Valley, "Arnprior is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and history lovers alike," featuring a range of charming shops, attractions, and activities.

The old-world downtown is dotted with boutiques, art galleries, and local markets offering all sorts of unique trinkets. You'll want to stop by the Arnprior and District Museum, where you can learn all about the town's past.

Another spot to explore is Robert Simpson Park, which offers stunning views of the river.

If you're looking for more outdoor adventures, take a trip along Gillies Grove Trail, where you can discover Ontario's tallest white pine tree. Or, enjoy free yoga in the park every Wednesday throughout the summer with Union 108.

During the warmer months, the town's two beaches are open for swimming, picnicking, and relaxing by the water.

With its charming streets and picturesque scenery, Arnprior is a cute small town full of character.
