Baseball is one of America's great pastimes. Sometimes it might be hard to choose between heading to the pool or the game - well now, you don't have to choose. Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco lets you hang out in a lazy river while you watch the Frisco Roughriders play their game. The 3,000 square foot river gives visitors views of the entire park so you won't miss a single detail.
The lazy river fits up to 200 people so there is plenty of space to float around and watch the game. You can also have all-you-can-eat hot dogs, chips, and peanuts for two and a half hours. On Thursday, you also get beers for just $1. The park is the only baseball park that has a lazy river in Texas. There are a few dates throughout summer where you can access the lazy river and the game through a massive party at The Yard and tickets are only $10. The party is 21+ and there is music, drink specials, and tons of food.
Tubes are provided for you at the river so you won't have to worry about carrying your own. There are no outside drinks or food allowed and you do have to bring your own swimsuit.
Tickets to the lazy river depend on the month but they generally start at just $25. There are still several games left in the season so you still have time to hang out at the river for some summer fun.
