Bayview Avenue (between Front Street East and Rosedale Valley Road), River Street (Bayview Avenue to Spruce Street) and Lake Shore Boulevard East (Leslie Street to Woodbine Avenue, eastbound lanes only) will be closed off for pedestrian and cyclist use only.

"The weekend closures provided [space] for thousands of people to be active, respect physical distancing and contributed to the overall wellbeing of residents," the city said in a statement announcing the closures.

The city also said that it is exploring the option of closing Lake Shore Boulevard West on an upcoming weekend and that more details about that will be released soon.
