A forest near Orillia has transformed into a dark and chilling place, and thrill-seekers will want to check it out.

Escape Challenge North is hosting "The Follower," an October haunt game that is full of nail-biting moments.

Running from October 2 until October 31, 2020, the escape game transports players into a gloomy forest filled with challenges to solve.

There is a spooky twist. You'll be followed by a terrifying being, which will only stop following you once you solve the puzzles and break the curse.

You'll go through forests and fields as you rush to complete the challenges and unlock secrets, with The Curse always drawing nearer.

The entire experience takes about an hour to complete. The minimum amount of players is 6, and the cost per person is $35.

You can choose your scare level by selecting a game during the day, dusk, or dark. The attraction is not recommended for young children.

As the event takes place entirely outdoors, make sure you dress warmly and wear appropriate footwear for the rugged terrain.

You'll want to outrun The Curse, after all.

You can book this terrifying experience in advance online, and time slots are already filling up.
