Atlanta Trails rates this hike as a more difficult hike, and a more difficult hike for your furry friends. You can use your guidance to decide whether or not to bring your four-legged friend along your adventure as well!
As you hike through the trail, you will notice the beautiful greenery throughout the entire trail, but it does not even compare to the sight you are about to see.
It only takes about a mile to make it to the Falls, and boy is that mile worth it. At the top of the crest, you will stop and stare at the waterfall that is 730 feet tall.
You will come upon the top of the waterfall and go over bridges and down stairs that wrap around the Falls' multiple tiers.
As you descend on your hike, you will eventually be lead to a reflection pool at the bottom of the waterfall. According to the Atlanta Trails website, this is the perfect spot to take a break and have a snack and some water!
At the very end of the hike, you will notice playgrounds and some picnic areas so you can reward yourself by having food and drinks at the end of your adventure.
Not to mention, this is the perfect opportunity for that perfect Instagram photo! The views from the top and even the middle of the waterfall are to die for, and everyone will be following your summer bucket list footsteps.
