According to Global News, the fire is presumed to have started in a building that was under construction. Another explosion erupted through the neighbourhood around 11 p.m. and the surrounding blocks lost power

When the building collapsed, it took powerlines down with it.

At this time, no injuries have been reported, according to Global. The neighbouring school, Willoughby Elementary, had closed for the day on Tuesday in response to the fire.
