A Massive Fire Engulfed Several Condo Buildings & Homes Last Night In Langley (VIDEOS)

On the night of Monday, April 19, a Langley fire forced about 100 people to evacuate from their homes and totally destroyed the condo buildings and townhouse complexes in its path.

CTV News reported that a massive explosion was heard before residents in the area were evacuated. The fire took place near 80th Avenue and 208th Street.

According to Global News, the fire is presumed to have started in a building that was under construction. Another explosion erupted through the neighbourhood around 11 p.m. and the surrounding blocks lost power

When the building collapsed, it took powerlines down with it. 

At this time, no injuries have been reported, according to Global. The neighbouring school, Willoughby Elementary, had closed for the day on Tuesday in response to the fire.
