Next Month's Perseid Meteor Shower Will Light Up BC's Skies

For many, August means catching the last few rays of summer — but if you love star gazing, then you know it's the month that the Perseid meteor shower in B.C. lights up the night.

The best time to see the celestial event will be between Tuesday, August 11 and Thursday, August 13, according to EarthSky.

If you can stay up past midnight, it's the best time to see them.

The moon is expected to make an appearance, making it a bit harder to see all the meteors. 

However, they're still super bright and you'll get a chance to see dozens if you only look up on a clear night.
