Disney's New Animation Studio In Vancouver Will Be Hiring For So Many Jobs Soon

You could help make the next Disney classic! ✨

Senior Writer

The Mouse is going north! New Walt Disney Animation Studios Vancouver jobs will be posted soon, but you can actually apply now.

Disney has announced that a brand new facility in Vancouver is set to open in January 2022 and the studio will focus on long-form series and special projects created for Disney+.

Disney will be recruiting for roles at the Vancouver studio soon and anyone who wants to work there can apply to the "Expression Of Interest" posting on the company's website now. Doing so tells the company that you're interested in future openings at the Vancouver studio.

In the coming months, Disney says it will be hiring across these departments and positions (and elsewhere as well):

  • Layout
  • Character Technical Director
  • General Technical Director
  • Animation
  • Look Development
  • Lighting
  • Effects
  • Technology
  • Studio Roles

The first project at the B.C. studio will be the Moana series scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in 2024.
