You know where we'll be this Christmas. 📍🎄

If you've been on the hunt for a Christmas Town in Canada, look no further.

Banff, Alberta absolutely explodes with Christmas spirit every year and it will warm your heart on even the coldest of days.

The main street, Banff Avenue, lights up with beautiful, twinkling lights and there are stunning snow-capped mountains on all sides.

The town of Banff transforms into a Christmas village with colourful lights, decorations and horse drawn carriages taking visitors through the streets. Banff And Beyond

There is even a store called the Spirit of Christmas which is basically Buddy the Elf's daydream. Oh, and it's open year-round.

To Some Place New says it's the perfect place for "items like sweets, gifts, ornaments, decorative crafts, etc."

Not only is the town's main strip a cheery wonder, but Banff is also home to the iconic Banff Springs Hotel. It's basically a castle that goes full Hallmark every winter.

This is a bucket list place to visit, no matter the season, but it really hits different around the holidays. It's romantic, beautiful, and just too special not to experience for yourself.

Make the day trip from Calgary or plan for a weekend adventure if you're coming from further away.
