This Alberta waterfall near Calgary is a baby Niagara Falls and no hiking is required

It's beautiful in the winter too!

Alberta has some pretty incredible hikes to choose from, but this waterfall is a short drive from Calgary and there's no need to break a sweat to see it. The stunning Alberta waterfall looks like it's a mini version of the famous Niagara Falls, with separate falls cascading down next to each other.

Although not quite as impressive, it's still beautiful and well worth the two-hour trip from the city.

Lundbreck Falls is about an hour's drive away from Lethbridge, and popular thanks to how easy it is to reach. You can walk up and watch the twin falls plunge down the 12-metre drop of water rushing down into the limestone canyon.

There's an observation deck here you can take in the scenery, or you can walk right down into the canyon to get up close to the falls.

In the winter the falls get frosty, offering up a different type of scenery, that's still jaw-droppingly beautiful. The trail is open year-round, so you can go and see it at any season.

In the summer there's also a campground nearby, so you can make a trip out of it. The waterfall also is like a natural sound machine to lull you to sleep.

This little waterfall packs a big punch of beauty, and anyone in Calgary should add it to their bucketlist.
