He was released from the holding facility in error.\n\n\nToronto Police Service \n\n\n\nHowever, the accused was supposed to remain in custody to answer to other unrelated charges. \nThe man, 24-year-old Michael Berhane, is described as "violent and dangerous." \nBerhane has an Ontario-wide warrant and is wanted for 12 criminal charges.\nThose include possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.\nPolice are asking residents not to approach Berhane if they see him and to call 911 immediately.\n*Editor's note: This article has been updated.
