Just around 7:00 a.m. on Thursday morning, a head-on crash took place between two vehicles near McLaughlin Road and Highway 407.

The Mississauga accident left two people pronounced dead at the scene and six people injured.

Three occupants were rushed to nearby trauma centres.

Two vehicles involved, two deceased occupants, and three other occupants being transported to trauma centre.

Peel Police 

An additional occupant is being transported to a nearby hospital.

The northbound and southbound lanes of McLaughlin Road are closed down for the ongoing investigation. Police say that it will be shut down for a while, per 680News.

Peel Paramedics and the fire department remain at the scene.

On Wednesday, four teens were left seriously injured after their Porsche wrapped around a pole in downtown Toronto.
