With temperatures soaring into the triple digits this week, Phoenix weather is on its way to breaking record highs this weekend.

The National Weather Service issued an Excessive Heat Warning today through Monday as the city heats up to 115 degrees.

This weekend's predicted extreme weather

Phoenix hasn't seen triple-digit temps this high since July 2017, according to TimeAndDate.

Mostly sunny skies and calm 5 mph winds mean that you can expect no relief from the breeze if you're out and about.

When the forecast is this hot, it's no wonder that the city feels as warm as Death Valley.
