The House of Commons Has Passed A Motion To Name The Proud Boys A 'Terrorist Entity'

Canada's NDP leader, Jagmeet Singh, had previously released a petition rallying for the designation.

Our motion calling on the Liberal govt to designate Proud Boys as a Terrorist Org has passed! But, Justin Trudeau… https://t.co/PjKU6nFACf— Jagmeet Singh (@Jagmeet Singh) 1611606072.0
Now, while the motion has been passed, Singh says that this call to the Liberal government cannot end here.
He accuses Trudeau of having a "habit of breaking his promises."
Singh continues to say that we cannot trust the prime minister to follow through and that the pressure needs to stay on.
As such, he's urging Canadians to continue signing his petition.
"Earlier this year, the Proud Boys, a right-wing extremist group that promotes white supremacist views made international headlines after being bolstered by Donald Trump," says the petition.
"Alarmingly, their founder is from Canada."
