September is flying by, so that means October, AKA the peak of spooky season, will be here before people know it. Flannels will start coming out of boxes, leaves will start changing and pumpkins will start finding their place on people's porches. You can head to this pumpkin patch farm in Georgia to get a normal jack-o-lantern, or even head home with a whopping 150-pound one.

Burt's Pumpkin Farm is located in Dawsonville, Georgia, in the northern part of the state. It's located right in the middle of the mountains, so you'll not only have a fun fall adventure, but you'll have incredible views, too.

The farm is known for its seasonal goodies, and during fall, the pumpkins are the star of the show. The owners, Johnny and Kathy Burt, sell about 50 to 70 acres of pumpkins per year, according to the official website.

Whatever type of pumpkin you're looking for, this spot has it all. They have some that are less than a pound and some that are as massive as 150-pounds. They even have them in different colors if you're looking for a little variation.

If you want to go for the big 150-pound guy, you'll get a wheelbarrow in order to bring it to your car.

While you're on the farm, hopping on the trailer and going on a hayride around the property should also be on your to-do list. It's about a two-mile journey, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a story told by Autumn and Gourdy, two pumpkins.

You'll see glimpses of the famous Amicalola Falls, mountain views, fields of flowers, and the entire pumpkin farm and the ride is only $6

Before you leave, you could also stop at the country store that's on-site. You'll find things like fresh-baked pumpkin goodies, Indian corn, and fall decor.

If you've been looking for something to do to ditch your couch this weekend, you can explore this pumpkin paradise every day from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. until the end of the farm's fall season in November.
