Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued In Southern Ontario As 'Damaging Winds' Head Our Way

The warning is asking you to take cover if you see threatening weather.

Environment Canada has released multiple severe thunderstorm warnings across Southern Ontario as "damaging winds" head our way. 

On Thursday afternoon, the weather agency warned that parts of the province are about to be hit with storms that could include gusting winds and torrential rainfall.

Stratford, Waterloo, Oxford, and Parry Sound are just some of the regions currently under this warning. 

Residents are being asked to take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches. 

The storms are expected to produce wind gusts that are as strong as 40 kilometres an hour in some areas.
