Toronto Casting Call Will Pay You $1000 If You Have The Body Of An NBA Star

You need to know how to shoot, too.
Staff Writer

If you’ve always dreamed of being the next NBA all-star, this Toronto casting call could be your best shot.

Milo Casting, a Toronto-based casting company, is offering $1,000 for a one-day commercial shoot where the lucky actor will be the body double for an unnamed Canadian NBA star.

Applicants must be between 20 and 30 years old, be close to 6’4" tall, and weigh around 215 pounds.

You have to have some basketball handles, too — the ad calls for “elite-level athleticism, ball-handling, and shooting mechanics” — but you don’t need any previous on-camera experience.

The casting call doesn’t say which Canadian NBA star the commercial is for, but the most well-known Canadian basketball player is probably Jamal Murray, who was born in Kitchener, ON.

Murray plays for the Denver Nuggets, and he also happens to be 6’4" and 215 pounds.

If you want to apply, all you need to do is provide your personal info, send a couple of photos of yourself in basketball gear, and give a brief description of how much basketball you’ve played.
