Calgary Police Set Up Photo Radars All Over The City This Month & Here's Where They Are

Look out! 🚗🚔
Contributor

Police have just announced the new Calgary photo radar locations for the month of March and they are all over the city.

There will be mobile photo radars dishing out speeding tickets on several main roads including Crowchild Trail, Glenmore Trail, Deerfoot Trail, Macleod Trail, Sarcee Trail and Stoney Trail.

There will also be a focus on a number of communities including the following:

  • Albert Park/Radisson Heights
  • Altadore
  • Beddington
  • Brentwood
  • Capitol Hill
  • Deer Ridge
  • Evergreen
  • Glendale/Killarney/Glengarry
  • Hillhurst
  • Inglewood
  • Lake Bonavista
  • Lower Mount Royal
  • McKenzie Lake
  • McKenzie Towne
  • Mission
  • Mount Pleasant
  • Ogden
  • Parkland
  • Pump Hill
  • Shaganappi
  • Sherwood
  • Sunalta
  • Vista Heights
  • West Springs

They're going to be all over the place so it's probably in your best interest to keep your eyes on that speedometer to make sure you're following the speed limit.

On top of the photo radars, there will also be Intersection Safety Cameras (ISC) in 58 different intersections

These cameras make sure you're not entering intersections during red lights or breaking any other rules of the road.

A number of the ISC locations are used to "capture vehicles that speed through green and yellow lights."

Calgary Police aren't messing around when it comes to traffic safety.
