In total, there are now 47 facilities accepting incoming travellers from Canada’s four leading international airports.

The latest update increased both Ontario and Quebec’s hotel numbers significantly, with the number of facilities available jumping to 17 and 13 respectively.

New additions nearby Toronto Pearson include places like the Hampton Inn and Suites Toronto Airport, Hilton Garden Inn Toronto Airport and the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel, among others.

In Quebec, Ramada Plaza Hotel, Days Inn by Wyndham Montreal Airport Conference Centre and Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton were added, as well as others.

Additional quarantine locations close to Vancouver Airport and Calgary Airport were also added, including Hyatt Place Calgary Hotel, Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Airport North, Coast Vancouver Airport Hotel and Hilton Vancouver Airport, to name a few.

It comes amid concerns about conditions in some of Canada’s quarantine hotels, with reports of cold food and long waits, as well as issues with booking systems.
