Is another "Schitt’s sweep" on the horizon? It's possible because the cast of Schitt's Creek was recently nominated for so many Critics Choice Awards. Dan Levy, one of the masterminds behind the iconic show, even had some kind words for his fellow cast members on yet another milestone. Also, thank you to all the critics who voted for us and have supported us over the years. ❤️ @CriticsChoice https://t.co/07kg1ZeFSm— dan levy (@danjlevy) January 18, 2021 Levy took to Twitter to celebrate the news with his fans but not without shouting out his co-stars, made up of family and friends. The team took home five nominations for the coveted award that is going into its 26th annual season. And like déjà vu, the main cast was once again nominated in each respective category. Eugene Levy was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, while Catherine O'Hara was nominated for Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Dan Levy was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series and Annie Murphy took home a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. The show also took home a nomination for Best Comedy Series overall, bringing the total figure to five nominations. This comes on the heel of sweeping up nine trophies at the 2020 Emmy awards.
