The team's new members were put to the test this week to see just how much they knew about lingo in the 6ix.

In a clip posted to Twitter, Fred VanVleet can be seen bringing the new guys up to speed on what it takes to be a "Toronto Mans." 

Players like DeAndre' Bembry, Malachi Flynn, and Jalen Harris were forced to tackle Toronto slang such as Yute and Nize It. 

Surprisingly, all of them did remarkably well at guessing what phrases such as "Man Dem" actually mean.

Of course, Freddie, who has been playing with the Raptors since 2016, landed himself a perfect score.

The Raptors have been forced to make a temporary home out of Tampa Bay this season.

The move came after the federal government denied their request to play in Canada back in November.
