After a sweltering July and August, Toronto can finally look forward to a brief cooldown.

Toronto's weather forecast for early September shows cooler temperatures than the city has experienced recently, particularly on Wednesday, September 9.

The Weather Network predicts a high of just 17 C on this day, feeling closer to 16 C. Plus, 20 to 25 mm of rain.

Here's a look at Toronto's seven-day outlook for September 8 to 14.

This is a far cry from the weather Toronto has experienced lately, with scorching humidity rivaling that of Cancun, Mexico.

According to the Farmers' Almanac, this rainy day is an indication of what's to come in Toronto this fall.
