Every day is brunch day here.

Jam Cafe in Victoria. Right: Brunch in Victoria.

A breakfast dish. Right: A drink.

Different cities have their own things that they're known for. Some are famed for their stunning fall foliage, cobblestone streets, or small-town vibes, but Victoria, B.C. is known for its brunch.

In fact, it's been dubbed "Canada's Brunch Capital", so if you want a trip filled with french toast, mimosas, and eggs benny (who doesn't?), then head to the oceanside city that brunch dreams are made of.

The Food Network crowned the West Coast city Canada's Brunch Capital in 2016 thanks to the sheer number of restaurants serving up the meal, made for all those weekend-living people out there.

Take away the brunch of it all even, and the city still shows up and shows out. The picturesque streets, Victorian architecture, and overall dreamy charm of this place draw people in. In the winter it's extra cozy, with twinkling lights decorating the waterfront area, and cozy cafes to curl up in.

If you are in the mood for some food though, you won't be disappointed.

One of the most popular brunch spots around is in Victoria — Jam Cafe. It's also popular among Vancouverite foodies, but the Victoria location was the original, which is always particularly fun to check out. One look at the menu and you'll see how this spot helps Victoria earn its brunch-y title. Cinnamon bun pancakes, a whole list of benedicts (including a pear and brie one), and even "green eggs and ham."

For a more upscale spot, you can head to The Courtney Room, which has elevated dishes like The Magnolia Omelette tasty looking sweets.

Then there are local faves like Flodys Diner, Nourish Cafe & Bistro, and The Village.

You get the point — it's a city that loves its brunch!

Grab some friends and get ready for a spectacularly delicious weekend in Victoria.
