Trump Promises He'll Be 'Back In Some Form' In His Final Speech As President

During Donald Trump’s final speech before officially leaving the White House, the former president promised supporters that he’d be “back in some form” in the future.

Speaking on January 20, just moments before boarding a plane to Florida, Trump addressed a small crowd of people.

He spoke about his administration’s achievements over the last four years, before discussing the ongoing COVID-19 situation in the country.

“Goodbye. We love you. We will be back in some form,” concluded Trump, moments before leaving with his wife, Melania Trump.

The comment was met with cheers and chants from the crowd.

He ended the short statement by saying, “Have a good life. We will see you soon.”

Throughout the speech, Trump did not acknowledge Joe Biden or share well-wishes for the president-elect ahead of his inauguration.

The former president previously confirmed that he would not be attending the event on January 20, although he did declare a state of emergency ahead of the proceedings.
