The New OVO x U of T Jacket Will Cost You Just As Much As Taking One Course At The School

The collab just dropped today.

How much do you bleed blue? The highly-anticipated collaboration between Drake's fashion brand, OVO, and the University of Toronto dropped on Friday, August 20, and shoppers were quick to point out the price of one particular item.

The (now sold-out) OVO x U of T Varsity jacket — which is patched up with the iconic OVO owl and Varsity Blues emblem — had a price tag of $668, and shoppers were quick to note that its price is equivalent to taking a single class at the university.

To take an online, introductory, continued education Marketing Class at the university, students would have to spend $795. And, that's just one example of course fees at the highly ranked school.

Other shoppers were quick to point out how expensive the varsity jacket was. "That OVO x UofT jacket really 7 bills?...y'all lost the plot completely," Twitter user LeoMonadel said.

One user even wrote that they're going to write off all the threads they got from the drop "as a charitable donation to my alma mater."

While the Varsity jacket is now sold out, there are other pieces still left in the drop that shoppers can cop, from tote bags, sweatpants, shorts and shirts, to polos and quarter-zip sweaters.
