It’s not too late to apply for COVID-19 benefits in Canada. That was the message coming from Justin Trudeau, as he reminded Canadians that government support is still up for grabs.

While support benefits like the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) and the Canada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB) have ended, there’s still funding available for people who need it.

In a tweet on Wednesday, December 9, the prime minister reminded Canadians of the benefits that they could be eligible for.

This includes the Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB), which offers $900 (after tax) for a two-week period.

We’ve put many measures in place to make sure you have the support you need.

As part of his reminder, the PM shared a link to the federal government’s COVID-19 Economic Response Plan website.

The page details all of the support that’s available right now, including Employment Insurance (EI), the Canada Recovery Benefit (CRB), the Canada Recovery Sickness Benefit (CRSB), and more.

The site also provides detailed information about eligibility for each option, as well as exactly how much you can get.

This isn’t the first time Trudeau has encouraged Canadians to find out what benefits they could be eligible to receive.

Back in November, he used Twitter to break-down every option on offer right now and explained exactly who qualifies for the money.
