Vancouver is full of amazing food and restaurants and some big-name celebrities even have their go-to spots when they're in the city.
While Asian cuisine seemed to be a big hit among Hollywood stars in 2023, several Italian and Indian restaurants also made the list.
Actor and comedian Seth Rogen, who grew up in Vancouver, has his fave spots he visits whenever he's home.
Drake's tour also brought him to Vancouver in August and he stopped at a couple of spots while he was in town.
Here are 12 Vancouver restaurants big-name celebrities dined at in 2023.
Fat Mao Noodles

Why You Need To Go: Sam Smith was in Canada for their Gloria Tour in August when they dined at Fat Mao Noodles, a spot specializing in Thai soup noodles.
Smith ordered the Kaho Soi Chicken Curry and expressed online just how much they loved the food.
"FAT MAO IS THE ONE. I LOVE VANCOUVER," Smith wrote on Instagram at the time.
Staff at the restaurant were equally as happy by the singer's visit and posted several photos with Smith.
La Terrazza

Why You Need To Go: It's a well-known fact by now that Drake loves Italian food so it was no surprise when he showed up for dinner at a popular Italian restaurant in Vancouver.
Drizzy was in town for his tour in August when he dined at La Terrazza. While the Canadian musician was there he took the time to snap a photo with several people who presumably work there.
"An absolute privilege to welcome Drake to our restaurant [La Terrazza] for an exclusive dinner event," the restaurant posted on Instagram along with the photo.
Cioppino's Mediterranean Grill

Why You Need To Go: La Terrazza wasn't Drake's only stop for Italian cuisine in Vancouver. The mega-star also went to eat a meal at Cioppino's Mediterranean Grill in Yaletown.
Cioppino's is another popular restaurant that was named one of the best places for Italian eats in the entire world in 2023.
It came 33rd on the 50 Top Italy's "The Best Italian Restaurants In The World 2023" list.
The fancy restaurant offers dishes like Hokkaido scallops, roasted rack of lamb and gnocchi "Cacio e Pepe."
Cioppino's Menu

Why You Need To Go: This Japanese restaurant specializes in ramen and features many drool-worthy options on its menu.
It looks like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle visited the eatery when they were in Vancouver in November.
Instagram user @denisekiwah shared a photo with the couple when she bumped into them at the location on Robson Street.
"Super nice couple," the caption reads.
JJang Korean BBQ & Social House

Why You Need To Go: This Korean BBQ offers a variety of dishes like different meats for grilling, soups and Korean style fried chicken.
The place got a visit from Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard in August when he was back in his home city.
Restaurant staff were excited to see the star and shared a photo they took with him outside.
"It's an absolute honor to dine with him, and we hope he's impressed with our food and service! Thank you for visiting, Finn!" the caption reads.
Tojo's Restaurant

Why You Need To Go: This casually elegant Japanese restaurant offers meals that are "reflective of [its] natural surroundings," according to the website.
British singer Ed Sheeran popped in for a meal when he was in town for his tour in September.
In an Instagram video, Sheeran is seen posing with Chef Tojo who the singer talked to about his recent trips to Japan.
Little Bird Dim Sum

Why You Need To Go: Actor and comedian Seth Rogen grew up in Vancouver so he knows where to get some amazing meals in the city.
It looks like one dim sum restaurant in Kitsilano has become a go-to spot for the actor when he's in town because he visited the eatery not once, but twice this year (that we know of).
The actor visited Little Bird Dim Sum in August and then came back in mid-November where he again posed with staff for photos.
Finn Wolfhard was another celeb who stopped by the spot in the summer.

According to an Instagram post shared by the food joint, Rogen really enjoyed the pork belly BBQ and KFC Korean fried chicken.
Tasty Indian Bistro

Why You Need To Go: This Indian restaurant offers many authentic dishes like chicken tikka, tandoori chicken and lamb curry.
Silence of the Lambs actor Anthony Hopkins stopped by for lunch in late November.
It's unclear what he ordered for the meal, but many people online have been wondering if he had the lamb.
Honey Doughnuts & Goodies

Why You Need To Go: This doughnut shop is loved by many celebrities who have visited over the years.
In 2022, the shop received visits from both Titanic star Kate Winslet and actor John Cena.
This year it looks like the cafe had a visit from former One Direction singer Harry Styles and his Canadian girlfriend Taylor Russell.
The couple was spotted cuddling on the nearby dock in Deep Cove and eagle-eyed fans spotted Styles carrying a box of Honey doughnuts. The Lost in Space actress grew up in the area so it's no surprise she would show Styles the best food spots in Vancouver.
Hawksworth Restaurant

Why You Need To Go: Harry Styles and Taylor Russell also reportedly stopped for dinner at Hawksworth Restaurant, which is both a Michelin-recommended restaurant and has been named "Vancouver's fine-dining favourite" by Forbes.
TikToker @hanaclchan shared the "thank you" note the couple reportedly sent the restaurant after their visit in a TikTok video.
This classy spot located inside Rosewood Hotel Georgia offers some delicious-sounding dishes like a seafood tower, fresh shucked oysters and grass fed beef brisket.
Blue Water Cafe

Why You Need To Go: This seafood restaurant serves only the "freshest and most sustainable wild coastal species," as listed on its website.
Michael Bublé ate at the restaurant with his wife Luisana Lopilato in November and clearly enjoyed it because he praised the food on social media.
"A must try when you're in Vancouver," Bublé wrote on Instagram.
