So many unflattering photos!

While it appears as though Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have a wonderful marriage, they do have a bit of an unconventional way of showing love for one another.

The Hollywood power couple, who are parents to four little ones (they welcomed a new baby to their clan earlier this year!), always take the time to support their partners' endeavours and regularly say kind and loving things publically about each other, but they do like to spice it up by poking a bit of fun at each other.

Here are a few times that Ryan and Blake have taken the opportunity to troll one another.

When Blake outright admitted to trolling Ryan

While Ryan and Rob McElhenney's Welsh soccer team Wrexham AFC was playing a very important match that Blake couldn't attend due to her recent pregnancy, she found the best way to both support the team and chirp her husband.

"I bought ESPN+ today," she explained alongside a picture of Reynolds looking deeply stressed. "Just to watch my husband experience crippling anxiety live. Worth it,"

"If you're not watching this insane @wrexham_afc game right now you're missing out on these vibes," she continued. "They're playing a team 3 leagues higher. And currently winning. Life makes no sense."

Blake's trolling was so epic that ESPN actually turned her statement into an Instagram post.

"This is what real love looks like," they said in their caption, which indeed seems very true in this case.

When Blake informed Ryan that he'd be sleeping on the couch

While doing an ad for his company Mint Mobile, Ryan asked his "wife" to back him up.

A woman then appeared on screen who was most definitely not Blake.

"You’re not my wife,” Ryan said.

“No, I just stand in for her on set during the boring stuff,” said the woman.

Blake left a feisty comment on her Instagram story about the ad.

"Darling... if you charged more, you could afford me," she said. "Sorry, your real wife."

"I feel so violated," Reynolds wrote in response on his own story.

As well, she had some words to share about his claim in the ad that he's "revolutionizing" the mobile plan space.

"@vancityreynolds, my love, feel free to revolutionize the couch when you sleep on it tonight!" Lively wrote.

When Ryan revealed Blake's kinky side

When someone asked about the wild and dirty fan requests he apparently receives, Ryan let the person know that it's probably Blake sending in the lewd requests as it "sounds like her."

You do you, Blake!

When Ryan cropped Blake out of the picture

Proving he's a doting husband, Ryan sweetly gave a shoutout to his "amazing wife" while also cropping the majority of her out of this Instagram picture.

When Ryan reaffirmed his committment to his relationship

When the rumour mill was churning with gossip that Blake and Ryan were calling it quits, Reynolds let the people know that he'd never split from his mom, who actually sounds like quite a character.

When Ryan asked Blake for spoilers on her movie

After Blake posted a chilling trailer for her movie A Simple Favor that ends with the question, "What happened to Emily?" Ryan took to Twitter looking for answers.

"You can tell me. We’re married. You once drove me to the hospital when you were giving birth. So... what the f*ck happened to Emily?"

Hopefully, she eventually told him — or he watched the film!

When Ryan posted a very, very bad photo of Blake

While filming a scene where Blake had to look quite unlike her usual glamorous self, Ryan saw the opportunity to tease his wife. He posted a picture of her looking a little worse for wear, with the caption "#nofilter." Eek!

When Blake shared that Ryan cried during his first time

Blake doesn't mind giving back for what she gets. Although she's scrubbed her social media clean a few times, which unfortunately erased some of her pranks on her husband, one post remains where she documented Ryan's "first time."

"He was understandably scared," she wrote about the Canadian's first time voting in the American election. "It all happened so fast. Like, REALLY fast. He wept. I pretended to weep. Then he called all his friend."

And when she trolled his announcement

When Ryan let the world know that he would be taking a sabbatical from movie making to spend time with his family, Blake immediately roasted his Instagram post, commenting that "Michael Caine did it first." Take that, Ryan!

The message was in reference to rumours that Caine was allegedly going to retire, but the 88-year-old has since tweeted that he's still in the game.

When Ryan posted more unflattering photos of Blake

And once again, in honour of Blake's birthday, Ryan took the opportunity to post all of the unflattering pictures of his wife he could find, which was surely a challenge given how beautiful she is!

Just proof that celebs can look as goofy as we do.

When Blake called Ryan's mom a hussy

It seems the trolling doesn't just stay between husband and wife!

In 2022, Ryan received the American Cinematheque Award in Los Angeles and was introduced by Lively.

"With his art, his heart, his philanthropy, his humour, his integrity, his unmatched work ethic, his self-deprecating levity, his hard-earned depths and his grace — so many of those stunning qualities come from his homeland Canada and giving back to the country that gave him his life is critical to who he is as a person," she said of her husband.

Blake then turned her attention to her in-laws.

"And that DNA is distinctly Canadian, spun one magical night in 1976 between the bedsheets of Jim and Tammy Reynolds," Lively said Ryan's parents.

"I’m looking at you, Tam Tam, you little hussy."

If calling your mother-in-law a hussy and getting away with it isn't goals, then what is?

Never change, you two!
